dc.description.abstractEn este proyecto, se estudian las dinámicas del uso de lugares de actividad y de actividad física en el marco del Proyecto TrUST, un proyecto multidisciplinario que tiene como objetivo evaluar el impacto del TransMiCable en determinantes sociales y ambientales de la salud. Se recolectaron y analizaron datos provenientes de dos mediciones llevadas a cabo en dos localidades específicas de la ciudad. Los resultados obtenidos revelan una disminución significativa en el tiempo dedicado a la actividad física diaria durante el año 2021 en comparación con el año 2019. Esta reducción se observa tanto en general como al desagregar los datos por género y localidad. Además, se identificaron diferencias notables en la concentración geográfica de la actividad física, así como cambios en los patrones de actividad física entre los diferentes géneros. Estos hallazgos destacan la influencia que ejercen tanto el entorno físico como el entorno social en la práctica de la actividad física. En este sentido, es fundamental reconocer la importancia de implementar políticas públicas efectivas que promuevan hábitos saludables y fomenten la participación activa de comunidades vulnerables en actividades físicas. El presente estudio contribuye en las investigaciones relacionadas con la actividad física, la salud y el entorno urbano, proporcionando evidencia de cómo los factores contextuales pueden influir en los niveles de actividad física de una población. Estos resultados pueden ser de gran utilidad para el diseño de estrategias de promoción de la actividad física en las comunidades evaluadas y, potencialmente, de otras comunidades similares en el contexto urbano.
