Impacto del COVID-19 en Colombia: Enfoque en la inoperatividad

dc.description.abstract | La crisis ocasionada por el COVID-19 afectó de forma heterogénea a los diversos sectores económicos. Utilizando un modelo dinámico insumo-producto se analiza el impacto de la emergencia sanitaria para los años 2020, 2021 y primera mitad de 2022 en Colombia. Se encuentra que i) los apoyos, de acuerdo con la estructura económica, deberían enfocarse en sectores como la explotación de minas, la coquización y fabricación de productos de la refinación del petróleo, la fabricación de sustancias químicas, caucho, plástico, minerales no metálicos, metalúrgicos, equipo eléctrico, maquinaria y vehículos, la construcción, el comercio, el transporte, alojamiento y servicios de comida, actividades administrativas, profesionales, científicas, técnicas, artísticas, de entretenimiento y recreación; ii) la inoperatividad de los sectores con posibilidades de acceso al teletrabajo/trabajo remoto es menor, en promedio, que la de los demás; iii) la pérdida acumulada total para el primer mes de 2023 es de $110,78 billones COP equivalente al 9,17 % del PIB del 2022 a precios del 2018. Estos resultados ilustran la importancia de políticas públicas focalizadas para la recuperación de la economía. | |
