| dc.description | El río Consotá es un afluente hídrico importante, para la ciudad de Pereira y para toda la región risaraldense. Es uno de los ejes ambientales principales, que atraviesan de oriente a occidente la ciudad. La cuenca que enmarca el rio Consotá, presenta unas características, tanto físicas como ambientales, que demuestran mucho potencial a la hora de resignificar y darle un valor importante al rio y a su entorno; resaltando, también, lo que corresponde a un ámbito comunitario y a un tejido social que han sufrido diferentes situaciones, que han vulnerado su núcleo a través de los años. Como objetivo, el proyecto busca recuperar toda la cuenca del rio Consotá, con una visión de ciudad inclusiva, que integre a la población con el eje ambiental, con su historia, con su cultura ancestral y con su biodiversidad. Se destacan aspectos claves en la historia, y cómo ha influido el Consotá en el desarrollo de la ciudad, y su significado. Abstract, The Consotá River is an important water tributary for the city of Pereira and for the entire Risaralda region. It is one of the main environmental axes, which cross the city from east to west. The basin that frames the river Consotá, presents characteristics, both physical and environmental, that demonstrate a lot of potential when it comes to resignifying and giving an important value to the river and its surroundings; highlighting, also, what corresponds to a community environment and a social fabric that have suffered different situations, which have violated its core over the years. As a goal, the project seeks to recover the entire Consotá river basin, with an inclusive city vision, that integrates the population with the environmental axis, with its history, with its ancestral culture and with its biodiversity.
