| dc.description | El presente artículo tiene por objetivo exponer las diferentes etapas de conformación de las instituciones de gobierno local en Pereira durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX. Este tránsito se enmarca en el contexto de re-poblamiento del centro occidente colombiano, el cual es conocido comúnmente como “colonización antioqueña”. Este proceso ha sido estudiado desde sus componentes sociales y económicos, pero pocas veces se ha atendido la necesidad de comprenderlo desde la perspectiva de las instituciones y del Estado, lo cual ha conllevado a un desconocimiento sobre los orígenes políticos y administrativos que hoy tienen los centros urbanos de esta importante zona del país. Con este artículo se pretende aportar a ese reconocimiento, así como a la evolución de la historiografía crítica para dicha región. | |
| dc.description | This article aims to explain the different stages of shaping the local governmentinstitutions in Pereira, during the second half of the 19th century. This transit isframed into the context of re-stocking Colombian western center, which iscommonly known as "colonization of Antioquia". This process has been studiedfrom its social and economic components, but has rarely addressed the need to beunderstood from the perspective of the institutions and the state, which has ledto an ignorance of the political and administrative backgrounds which are nowthe centers this important urban area in the country. This article also aims tocontribute to that recognition, as well as the evolution of the criticalhistoriography in such region. | |
