| dc.description | Las dinámicas sociales y productivas del campo que imperaban hace algunas décadas, presentan valiosas transformaciones actualmente. De una actividad meramente agrícola, se ha expandido a campos como el turismo, el comercio, la industria, la pesca, la artesanía, la ganadería, minería y la extracción de recursos naturales. También ha presentado cambios en el rol de sus habitantes: las mujeres asumen nuevas responsabilidades y lideran proyectos que propenden por el desarrollo de sus comunidades.
Este trabajo indaga, precisamente, las acciones de liderazgo encabezadas por las mujeres habitantes de los corregimientos: Morelia, Palmilla-La Estrella, Tribunas, Arabia y Altagracia que aportan al desarrollo de la región con el fin de contribuir con la visibilización de la mujer rural en la ciudad de Pereira; a través de un acercamiento en el trabajo de campo, se logran identificar algunos personajes femeninos destacados que dedican su vida a liderar procesos en su comunidad.
Así, se dilucida un camino de esfuerzos tanto propios como colectivos que buscan dignificar la vida en el sector rural, dándole el justo lugar al trabajo en el campo y al reconocimiento de la cultura y la tradición de sus corregimientos.
Los resultados obtenidos han sido dispuestos a través de una página web conectada a la alcaldía de Pereira. /Abstract: The social and productive dynamics of the country site that prevailed a few decades ago, present valuable transformations today. From a purely agricultural activity, it has expanded to fields such as tourism, commerce, industry, fisheries, handicrafts, livestock, mining and the extraction of natural resources. It has also presented changes in the role of its inhabitants: women assume new responsibilities and lead projects that tend to develop their communities.
This work investigates precisely the leadership actions led by the women inhabitants of the townships: Morelia, Palmilla-La Estrella, Tribunas, Arabia and Altagracia that contribute to the development of the region in order to contribute to the visibility of rural women in the city of Pereira; Through an approach in the field work, some outstanding female characters who dedicate their lives to lead processes in their community are identified.
Thus, it is elucidated a path of efforts both own and collective that seek to dignify life in the rural sector, giving the right place to work in the field and the recognition of the culture and tradition of its corregimientos.
