dc.descriptionEl sector servicios y más específicamente el Turismo de Salud, se ha convertido en uno de los atrayentes de Colombia para el mundo y a su vez una fuente potencial de competitividad para el país. El Gobierno ha creado el Programa de Transformación Productiva (PTP) para aumentar la productividad, competitividad y desarrollo del país a través de este, identificando así los 20 sectores más fuertes, siendo el Turismo y más específicamente el subsector Turismo de Salud uno de estos. Pereira cuenta con una importante oferta en este sub-sector, siendo en su mayoría participes de este las PYMEs de la ciudad, por lo tanto esta investigación pretende examinar el estado de internacionalización de las pymes del Turismo de Salud en la ciudad Pereira, siendo la internacionalización una de las fuentes de desarrollo y competitividad del mismo. / ABSTRACT The services sector and more specifically the health tourism has become one of the attractive of Colombia to the world and at the same time a potential source of competitiveness for the country. The Government has created the Productive Transformation Programme (PTP) to increase productivity, competitiveness and development of the country through this, thus identifying the 20 strongest sectors where tourism and more specifically the Health Tourism subsector is one of these. Pereira has a large range offer in this subsector where in the city “PYME’s” are being mostly participants of it, therefore this research aims to examine the State of internationalization of Health Tourism “PYME’s” in Pereira’s city, understanding internationalization as a source of development and competitiveness of the same.
