dc.descriptionLa hepatitis A se presenta espor?dicamente en el mundo entero, por ello el objetivo del estudio fue caracterizar desde el punto de vista cl?nico - epidemiol?gico los casos de Hepatitis viral tipo A notificados, en brote ocurrido en el Municipio Independencia, durante el 2019. Dentro del material y m?todos podemos mencionar que es un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal. Los casos se obtuvieron de las series cronol?gicas del Departamento de Estad?stica del CDI y de las Fichas epidemiol?gicas, tomando variables sociodemogr?ficas, cl?nicas y factores de riesgo. La poblaci?n y muestra fueron los 59 pacientes diagnosticados por hepatitis A. Se elabor? una planilla para recolectar datos epidemiol?gicos, los mismos se vaciaron en una base de datos dise?ada en Excel, para obtener frecuencias absolutas y relativas de las variables estudiadas. Los resultados se representan en tablas y gr?ficos. Entre sus resultados se menciona que predominaron el sexo masculino (59,4 %) y las edades de 15 ? 21 a?os (28,8 %) para ambos sexos. El per?odo prodr?mico se caracteriz? por astenia (100 %) y dolor en hipocondrio derecho (96,6 %). En el per?odo de Estado el 100 % de los pacientes presentaron ictericia. Al examen f?sico la Coloraci?n amarilla de piel y escler?tica se detect? en el 100% de los casos. Entre las conclusiones se se?ala que predomin? el sexo masculino, el grupo etario 15 ? 21 a?os y la ocupaci?n de trabajador. La ictericia en piel y escler?tica y la hepatomegalia dolorosa fueron hallazgos comunes al examen f?sico. M?s de la mitad de los casos se confirmaron por laboratorio. Los factores de riesgo presentes fueron: vectores mec?nicos, consumo de agua no tratada y desbordamiento de alba?ales.
dc.descriptionHepatitis A occurs sporadically throughout the world, the objective of the study was to characterize from the clinical-epidemiological point of view the cases of viral Hepatitis type A reported, in an outbreak that occurred in the Municipality of Independencia, during 2019wsw. Within the material and methods we can mention that it is a descriptive cross-sectional study. The cases were obtained from the chronological series of the Department of Statistics of the CDI and from the epidemiological files, taking sociodemographic, clinical and risk factor variables. The population and sample were the 59 patients diagnosed with hepatitis A. A form was prepared to collect epidemiological data, they were entered into a database designed in Excel, to obtain absolute and relative frequencies of the variables studied. The results are represented in tables and graphs.. Among the results, it is mentioned that the male sex (59.4%) and ages 15-21 years (28.8%) predominated for both sexes. The prodromal period was characterized by asthenia (100%) and pain in the right hypochondrium (96.6%). In the State period, 100% of the patients presented jaundice. On physical examination, yellow coloration of the skin and sclera was detected in 100% of the cases. Among the conclusions it is pointed out The male sex, the age group 15 - 21 years and the occupation of worker predominated. Skin and scleral jaundice and painful hepatomegaly were common findings on physical examination. More than half of the cases were confirmed by laboratory tests. The risk factors present were: mechanical vectors, consumption of untreated water and overflow of sewers.
