dc.description.abstract | In recent years, considerable efforts have been made to understand the mechanical properties and behavior of materials stabilized with foamed bitumen. Many studies are aimed at obtaining the Resilient Modulus - RM, so that, independently of the analysis model, reliable values of this
parameter can be applied to the layers of these materials in the design methods of pavement structures of an empirical nature - mechanistic. This article shows the constitutive equations of RM, obtained on mixtures with different proportions by weight of granular / RAP (100/0 %, 85/15 %, 70/30 % and 50/50 %) and asphalt foam (60 / 70 1/10 mm) from the refineries of Barrancabermeja and Apiay, Colombia, from two different origins. The mixtures were developed following the methodology proposed by the Asphalt Academy of South Africa, in the Technical Guide - Bitumen Stabilized Materials, TG2 of 2009. The manufactured test pieces were tested to determine the RM, according to standard INV E-156-13. With the results obtained, the RM models were evaluated according to the main stresses (first invariant stress -θ), the deviating stress - σd or the octahedral shear stress - τoct. A significant dependence of the stress state is confirmed for the evaluated materials.
