dc.description.abstractPara evaluar la eficiencia del secado de los lodos de las aguas de lavado de filtros, producidos en una planta de coagulación por contacto o filtración directa, como los de la planta Weisner de la EAAB, se realizaron ensayos de acondicionamiento y secado mediante filtración al vacío y desaguado sobre lechos de arena. Los resultados obtenidos indican que es factible aumentar la concentración de sólidos y reducir el volumen de dichos residuos mediante acondicionamiento, filtración al vacío o secado en lechos de arena.
dc.description.abstractTo evaluate the efficiency of drying the sludge from the filter washing water, produced in a coagulation plant by contact or direct filtration, such as those of the Weisner plant of the EAAB, conditioning and drying tests were carried out by means of vacuum filtration. and drained over beds of sand. The results obtained indicate that it is feasible to increase the concentration of solids and reduce the volume of said residues through conditioning, vacuum filtration or drying in sand beds.
