Simulaciones visuales de la identidad, divergencias entre imaginarios y representaciones en Colombia

Abstract

En esta investigación se procura la identificación y el análisis de los imaginarios de identidad que surgen de los símbolos emblemáticos de Colombia; de las marcas territorio emitidas desde el Gobierno Central; y de las imágenes de identidades emergentes. De estos objetos se exploran sus representaciones en el marco del arte y la imagen visual como su referente simbólico. Lo anterior se realiza a través de estudios de caso: Marca País CO, Bandera Nacional y Obra del pintor Pedro Ruiz. Así, se logra caracterizar la diversidad de posturas desde las que socialmente se reconoce y se da credibilidad a una nueva identidad colombianidad.

This research seeks to identify and analyze the identity imaginaries that emerge from the emblematic symbols of Colombia, the territorial brands issued by the Central Government, and the images of emerging identities. The representations of these objects are explored within the framework of art and the visual image as their symbolic referent. This is done through case studies: CO Country Brand, National Flag and the work of the painter Pedro Ruiz. Thus, it is possible to characterize the diversity of positions from which a new Colombian identity is socially recognized and given credibility.
