Given the disaffection of students with mainstream macroeconomic models and the unattractive teaching methods, an alternative of heterodox synthesis is offered here, based on a teaching innovation project that has been developed at Rey Juan Carlos Universidad. gamified classes, the students have had continuous access to practices, data, and graphs from FRED® (Federal Reserve Economic Data), from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. The results have been very positive, so it has been expanded to other online resources.
