Fortalecimiento de la Educación Sexual en la Institución Educativa Aguachica del Departamento de Arauca

Abstract

En este proyecto de investigación, se llevó a cabo la búsqueda y síntesis de información sobre los embarazos a temprana edad con el objetivo de desarrollar un material de apoyo o cartilla que se entregaría a la Institución Educativa Aguachica en el municipio de Arauquita, donde los embarazos entre las estudiantes eran frecuentes. Mediante la metodología Design Thinking se identificó que una de las principales causas era la falta de educación sexual y el desconocimiento de los métodos anticonceptivos. La cartilla elaborada aborda los riesgos del embarazo a temprana edad y proporciona información sobre los diferentes métodos anticonceptivos disponibles. Este material brinda apoyo a los docentes encargados de esta área de aprendizaje, y busca fomentar la toma de decisiones responsables por parte de los estudiantes, permitiéndoles ejercer su libertad en cuanto a su vida sexual y evitar que la falta de conocimiento sobre el tema afecte su salud y desarrollo, generando consecuencias a largo plazo en la vida adulta. El resultado obtenido fue una cartilla diseñada como material de estudio, con un enfoque estético basado en el minimalismo para proporcionar a los estudiantes una experiencia visual de simplicidad y tranquilidad. Se complementó el diseño con ilustraciones relacionadas con los temas tratados, lo que facilitó la comprensión de la información presentada. La elección del estilo minimalista tuvo como objetivo evitar distracciones visuales y centrar la atención de los estudiantes en el contenido. Los elementos visuales utilizados, como ilustraciones claras y concisas, permitieron transmitir ideas de manera efectiva y facilitaron la asimilación de los conceptos abordados. Además, se prestó especial atención a la legibilidad y estructura del material, utilizando una diagramación clara y una tipografía adecuada para facilitar la lectura, permitiendo que los estudiantes se involucraran activamente en el proceso de aprendizaje, ofreciendo un material de estudio efectivo y agradable de utilizar.

In this research project, a search and synthesis of information on early-age pregnancies was carried out with the objective of developing a support material or booklet to be delivered to the Aguachica Educational Institution in the municipality of Arauquita, where student pregnancies were frequent. Using the Design Thinking methodology, it was identified that one of the main causes was the lack of sex education and the unawareness of contraceptive methods. The developed booklet addresses the risks of early-age pregnancy and provides information on the different available contraceptive methods. This material supports the teachers responsible for this area of learning and aims to encourage responsible decision-making by students, allowing them to exercise their freedom regarding their sexual lives and preventing the lack of knowledge on the subject from affecting their health and development, thereby generating long-term consequences in adulthood. The result obtained was a booklet designed as a study material, with an aesthetic focus based on minimalism to provide students with a visual experience of simplicity and tranquility. The design was complemented with illustrations related to the topics covered, which facilitated the understanding of the presented information. The choice of a minimalist style aimed to avoid visual distractions and focus students' attention on the content. The visual elements used, such as clear and concise illustrations, allowed for effective idea transmission and facilitated the assimilation of the addressed concepts. Furthermore, special attention was given to the readability and structure of the material, using clear layout and appropriate typography to facilitate reading, enabling students to actively engage in the learning process, offering an effective and enjoyable study material.
