dc.description | eng:This Article summarizes a research project that presents the analysis of implementing pronunciation strategies for students who need to improve their pronunciation. Participants were students from different parts of Latin America and basic levels, A1/A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), taking part in online classes at Berlitz Virtual Classroom (BVC). A Qualitative methodology and the action research methodology were used during the study to describe an existing issue and try to look for a solution to students' needs in the EFL classroom. In the diagnostic stage, students’ surveys, teachers’ interviews and teacher’s journals were implemented as instruments to collect information during the classes. The implementation stage took place making use of a cyclical method that included planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results of this study show that learners can pronounce specific sounds, and use linking words and stress patterns in English better by using certain strategies in the EFL class, which results in fostering their oral production in terms of fluency and accuracy.
