dc.descriptionEl planeta está luchando con crisis ambientales transfronterizas: cambio climático, sobreexplotación de los recursos naturales, deforestación, contaminación del agua y pérdida de biodiversidad. Dado nuestro mundo globalizado la degradación ambiental ya no se considera una cuestión local y trasciende las fronteras políticas de los Estados. Frente a esto, es importante determinar como el desarrollo del Derecho Internacional Ambiental (DIMA) ha promovido el desarrollo de las relaciones entre Estados para abordar estos temas. Así, se puede afirmar que el DIMA desde su concepción propende más a relaciones colaborativas y de cooperación, lo cual ha logrado moldear el comportamiento de los Estados debido al interés común de la preservación del medio ambiente

Given our globalized world, environmental degradation is no longer considered a local issue and transcends the political borders of States. Given this, it is important to determine how the development of International Environmental Law (DIMA) has promoted the development of relations between States to address these issues.
