Abstract

In the present study, the pathological and seismic vulnerability study of the building where the Turbaco Educational Institution (INDOTUR) works, which is in the Municipality of Turbaco, is developed. For this purpose, it was necessary to carry out the clinical history first, which consisted of the collection of general information on the building, in this phase the detailed survey of the patient's injuries was also carried out with their respective photographic record. Secondly, the diagnosis, which consisted in the development of a program of field and laboratory tests such as sclerometry tests, carbonation tests, core extractions in the concrete elements and the study of soils, to Determine the causes of the patient's injuries. Thirdly, a seismic vulnerability analysis of the building was carried out, in which the flexibility and overstress indices of the structure were determined. Finally, the patient intervention works were designed, which consisted of reinforcing the different structural elements with their plans, budget, work schedule and respective maintenance plan.
