Abstract

This report presents the results obtained during the business internships carried out at the National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN), specifically in collaboration with the Administrative and Financial Division with the documentation work intern group. The main function of this unit is to support the DIAN in fiscal security and the protection of the country's economic order. During this internship process, activities and tasks related to the international business career were carried out, achieving the objectives and goals established for a successful development of the internship. This allowed to acquire a greater learning, to develop the previous knowledge obtained in the career and to improve it. This report will describe in detail the entity where the internship was carried out, its functions and the development of activities to ensure compliance with the country's tax and customs obligations. It will also explain the activities carried out and the performance obtained as an international business intern, as well as the results obtained throughout the internship process. The main objective is to generate new knowledge to acquire the necessary experience to enter the working world of an international negotiator.
