dc.description.abstractThe Postgraduate Unit within the framework of its strategic planning and its line of work "relevance of academic offer: general aspects of postgraduate programs", which aims to support compliance with policies and guidelines issued institutionally and which are led by the Curricular Development and Teacher Training Unit (UDCFD), in order to favor an academic offer of pertinent postgraduate programs and contribute to their strategic planning, presents this document as the second phase of the review of the academic offer of graduate programs at Institutions of Higher Education (HEIs) peers the USTA in 2021 and 2022-1. In coherence, it presents some considerations on the relevance of new postgraduate programs at the multi-campus level, based on the recognition of the curricular characteristics, the offer of postgraduate courses at the national level, compliance with the guidelines in the curricular design of new programs, in order to generate recommendations in decision-making associated with the postgraduate offer. Consequently, the document is made up of three parts: 1) global, national and institutional review of the main objectives in education and considerations at the level of relevance for the creation of programs, 2) definition of aspects to be taken into account for evaluate the relevance of the creation of academic programs and 3) conclusions and recommendations for the academic-administrative instances that accompany this process in the institution.
