dc.description.abstractAbstract This integrated professional work is essentially focused on choosing a patient to whom we could apply all the knowledge acquired in the specialization of construction pathology and thus perform a complete pathology study, carrying a complete auscultation of the same, it depends on the above that the diagnosis of our patient is accurate and we can thus generate an effective treatment for the types of pathology that we find in the structure. Our patient is a control room of water injection lines used in the process of oil extraction, this structure designed in 2009 under the seismic resistant standard NSR 98 and built between 2010 - 2011, given these conditions will be verified in this work that the structure complies with current regulations (NSR 10), also a complete medical history of all pathologies found with the different tests performed as: carbonation tests, sclerometry, ferroscan and thermographies obtaining from them important results such as the failure of the waterproofing and the entrance of water under the asphalt mantle as well as the detection of non-structural elements under the coatings, pathologies that would not be visible to the naked eye. Once the clinical history and diagnosis were carried out, we found a structure designed with NSR 98 standards but still complying with NSR 10, most of its pathologies depended essentially on bad construction processes, low quality controls on materials, pathologies that can be corrected by efficiently generating a good rehabilitation treatment.
