dc.description.abstract | The degree project "Alternative proposal for the improvement of mobility in Curití, Santander" seeks to propose an innovative solution for urban mobility in the region. Adapting the Metodología General Ajustada MGA, the procedure for the formulation of a project of public interest was carried out. The modules implemented were a) Identification, b) Preparation. This made it possible to determine the need for a viable sustainable mobility alternative in social and economic terms.
The final selection of the location was made through the score obtained in the micro location matrices, based on factors such as availability of land, distance from the road corridor and the main tourist sites, among others, where two locations were suitable with a view to a possible expansion. The estimated demand is 300 parking spaces, considering the vehicles parked in the area of influence. In addition, through the average daily traffic in the high tourism season, the vehicular flow that enters and leaves the municipality was obtained. The social approval of both tourists and inhabitants of the sector was obtained through a survey of declared preferences, identifying the needs of potential users. Finally, a reference value was established in terms of model execution costs through the analysis of unit prices APU, which allows for a more organized outlook for decision making.
In conclusion, the "Park and Ride" Model proposal turned out to be a feasible option that can contribute to solving the current situation of vehicle parking on public roads in Curití, Santander | |
