Virada de Placard: o esporte como crítica social do PCB no jornal Tribuna Popular (1945)

Abstract

Este trabalho estuda a atuação do jornalista Ricardo Serran no jornal Tribuna Popular, pertencente ao Partido Comunista do Brasil (PCB). A partir do estudo e análise da coluna Placard, aliado à historiografia confeccionada em torno do recorte selecionado, buscaremos identificar elementos que apontem para a utilização do esporte, por parte do PCB, como ferramenta política e de mobilização popular em torno do seu projeto na redemocratização do Brasil, em 1945; bem como as aproximações e distanciamentos da postura de Serran às diretrizes editoriais do periódico e do partido.

This assignment studies the work of the journalist Ricardo Serran in the newspaper Tribuna Popular, which belonged to the Communist Party of Brazil (PCB). From the study and analysis of the Placard column, combined with the historiography made around the selected clipping, we will seek to identify elements that point to the use of sport, by the PCB, as a political and popular mobilization tool around its project in redemocratization from Brazil, in 1945; as well as the similarities and differences between Serran's position and the editorial guidelines of the newspaper and the party.
