Análise dos índices ofensivos das quatro seleções finalistas da copa do mundo de 2022

Abstract

O futebol é um esporte coletivo praticado entre dois times, com o objetivo de vencer o oponente através da marcação de gols que ocorre quando uma equipe consegue colocar a bola dentro das balizas do rival. Com o passar dos anos o esporte se popularizou e, assim, surgiram órgãos para regulamentar partidas e torneios internacionais, como a Copa do Mundo, que ocorre quadrienalmente contendo 32 seleções. Tais jogos são analisados e, posteriormente, são identificados indicadores de performance, estes que definem quais aspectos do desempenho das equipes são capazes de promover sucesso no esporte. Assim, buscou-se analisar a relação entre o comportamento ofensivo e os resultados obtidos pelas quatro seleções finalistas da Copa do Mundo de 2022: Argentina, França, Croácia e Marrocos. Os dados foram coletados através do site FIFA Training Centre, e através de dados estatísticos e métricas numéricas as informações sobre os times foram dispostas, sendo posteriormente analisadas. Identificou–se que as equipes finalistas, Argentina e França, foram as que obtiveram maiores médias de gols e tentativas a gol, bem como maiores índices de posse de bola, sendo essas variáveis relacionadas à um maior índice de sucesso da partida, o que reforça a importância da análise dos indicadores ofensivos no planejamento tático de uma equipe.

Football is a collective sport practiced between two teams, with the objective of winning the opponent through the scoring of goals that occurs when a team manages to put the ball inside the rival's goals. Over the years, the sport became popular and, thus, bodies to regulate international matches and tournaments, such as the World Cup, which occurs every four years with 32 selections. Thus, we sought to analyze the relationship between the offensive behavior and the results obtained by the four finalist selections of the 2022 World Cup: Argentina, France, Croatia and Morocco. The data was collected through the FIFA Training Center website, and through statistical data and numerical metrics the information about the teams was displayed and subsequently analyzed. identified yourself that the finalist teams, Argentina and France, were the ones with the highest goal averages and attempts on goal, as well as higher rates of possession of the ball, these variables being related to a higher match success rate, which reinforces the importance of analyzing of offensive indicators in the tactical planning of a team.
