| dc.description | Inteligibilidade, uma propriedade resultante da interação das pessoas com o espaço ao considerar o modo que elas entendem tal meio. Quanto maior a inteligibilidade, maior relação entre a configuração e a cognição, o que aumenta a legibilidade urbana. Neste sentido, este artigo propõe a separação de sistemas urbanos para compreensão das partes como um todo, bem como a análise de como estes diferentes sistemas contribuem para estratégias de (re)qualificação de setores urbanos. Adota-se como objeto de estudo um setor urbano em São Leopoldo/RS. Após revisão da literatura, foram feitos levantamentos de dados e levantamentos físicos da área e entorno. Foi verificada a importância de separar os sistemas urbanos, tais como sistema de modais, de espaços públicos abertos, de inovação tecnológica e de desenvolvimento socioespacial, para melhorar a compreensão da inteligibilidade, integração socioespacial e legibilidade urbana, o que pode contribuir para o sentimento de pertencimento e familiaridade com o local. | |
| dc.description | Intelligibility is a resulting property from the interaction between people and space when considering the way they understand such medium. The greater the intelligibility, the greater the relationship between configuration and cognition, which increases urban readability. In this sense, this article proposes the separation of urban systems to understand the parts as a whole, as well as the analysis of how these different systems contribute to strategies of (re)qualification of urban sectors. An urban sector in São Leopoldo/RS is adopted as an object of study. After reviewing the literature, data and physical surveys of the area and surroundings were carried out. It was verified the importance of separating urban systems, such as modal system, open public spaces, technological innovation and socio-spatial development, to improve the understanding of intelligibility, socio-spatial integration and urban readability, which can contribute to the feeling of belonging and familiarity with the place. | |
