| dc.description | Uma das premissas básicas é que as Indicações Geográficas atuam como promotoras de desenvolvimento territorial sustentável. Mas nota-se ainda, uma falta de clareza dos impactos que seus elementos constitutivos a tornam uma promotora do desenvolvimento sustentável. Este estudo objetivou identificar os impactos da indicação geográfica sobre os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) e as possibilidades de dinamizar os resultados através da aplicação de boas práticas nas regiões dos Vales da Uva Goethe e Banana da Região de Corupá. Da mesma forma que busca relacionar o conceito de Indicação Geográfica aos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da ONU, buscou-se identificar dentre os 17 Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da ONU; quais são os impactos pelas características especificas das Indicações Geográficas, bem como apontar quais os fatores nos processos de indicação geográfica que podem constituir-se em ferramentas eficazes no desenvolvimento territorial sustentável, tendo como base os processos desenvolvidos nos Vales da Uva Goethe e Banana da Região de Corupá. E por fim propor um arcabouço de boas práticas necessárias para dinamizar os resultados nas regiões e apresentar uma cartilha de boas práticas necessárias para que a Indicação Geográfica seja promotora do desenvolvimento sustentável. Esta pesquisa tem caráter exploratório, pois utilizou a pesquisa documental e bibliográfica para conhecer a realidade da IG Vales da Uva Goethe e Banana da região de Corupá, e para conceituar os termos desenvolvimento sustentável, desenvolvimento territorial sustentável, objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável e indicação geográfica, bem como compreender os impactos positivos da indicação geográfica sobre os objetivos de desenvolvimento sustentável. Dentre os elementos identificados que podem promover o desenvolvimento sustentável, está: o seu caráter coletivo; a identidade territorial; a característica de ser um produto ou serviço único; a proteção da propriedade intelectual integrada pelo estabelecimento de normas no caderno de especificações técnicas; e as estruturas de controle e gestão necessárias, como o conselho regulador e conselho gestor. Estes são os possíveis elementos que com o uso de boas práticas podem transformar em uma ferramenta promotora do desenvolvimento territorial sustentável. Foi possível compreender que elementos que fazem a indicação geográfica ser uma estratégia para aumentar a competividade de um bem ou serviço numa estratégia para atingir os compromissos com a Agenda 2030, mas só é possível pela congruência de objetivos e interesses comuns, pela identidade territorial, que fortalecem a coesão social e promove a realização de atividades de forma coletiva e transparente, criando uma governança territorial com diferentes atores, representando diferentes segmentos que se complementam. E aplicar as boas práticas de sustentabilidade nos diferentes segmentos da sociedade, com um sistema acompanhamento dos indicadores municipais atualizados periodicamente e adaptados as mudanças da sociedade é possível com uso das Indicações Geográficas promover o desenvolvimento sustentável. | |
| dc.description | Abstract: One of the basic premises is that Geographical Indications act as promoters of sustainable territorial development. But there is still a lack of clarity about the impacts that its constituent elements make it a promoter of sustainable development. This study aimed to identify the impacts of the geographical indication on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the possibilities of boosting the results through the application of good practices in the regions of the Goethe and Banana Valleys of the Region of Corupá. In the same way that it seeks to relate the concept of Geographical Indication to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, it sought to identify among the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals; what are the impacts by the specific characteristics of the Geographical Indications, as well as pointing out which factors in the geographical indication processes that can constitute effective tools in sustainable territorial development, based on the processes developed in the Goethe and Banana Valleys of the Region of Corupá. And finally, to propose a framework of good practices necessary to dynamize the results in the regions and present a booklet of good practices necessary for the Geographical Indication to be a promoter of sustainable development. This research is exploratory in nature, as it used documentary and bibliographic research to understand the reality of the IG Vales da Uva Goethe and Banana in the region of Corupá, and to conceptualize the terms sustainable development, sustainable territorial development, sustainable development objectives and geographical indication, as well as understanding the positive impacts of the geographical indication on sustainable development goals. Among the elements identified that can promote sustainable development are: their collective character; territorial identity; the characteristic of being a unique product or service; the protection of intellectual property integrated by the establishment of standards in the technical specification book; and the necessary control and management structures, such as the regulatory council and the management council. These are the possible elements that, with the use of good practices, can be transformed into a tool to promote sustainable territorial development. It was possible to understand which elements make the geographical indication a strategy to increase the competitiveness of a good or service in a strategy to achieve the commitments with the 2030 Agenda, but it is only possible due to the congruence of common goals and interests, the territorial identity, which they strengthen social cohesion and promote the carrying out of activities in a collective and transparent manner, creating territorial governance with different actors, representing different segments that complement each other. And applying good sustainability practices in different segments of society, with a monitoring system of municipal indicators that are periodically updated and adapted to changes in society, is possible with the use of Geographical Indications to promote sustainable development. | |
