dc.descriptionO sistema conhecido mundialmente como Light Steel Framing vem ganhando espaço no cenário da construção civil brasileira. Diante disso, esta pesquisa tem por objetivo principal investigar, por meio de um estudo experimental, o comportamento da ligação do compensado estrutural com os perfis do sistema construtivo Light Steel Framing. Para alcançar o objetivo da pesquisa, foi feita uma revisão bibliográfica; a caracterização, por meio de ensaios de flexão e de cisalhamento, das placas de compensado; a avaliação do conjunto formado pelos parafusos de ligação e as placas de compensado fixadas nos perfis do sistema Light Steel Framing; e também, uma análise da possibilidade da eliminação do contraventamento com fitas de aço galvanizado comumente feito nos painéis de Light Steel Framing. Espera-se que este estudo contribua com a redução de aço no sistema, principalmente em edificações de interesse social, e com a difusão do conhecimento técnico sobre o assunto.
dc.descriptionThe system known worldwide as Light Steel Framing it has been gaining ground in the Brazilian civil construction scenario. Therefore, this research has as main objective to investigate, by mean an experimental study, the behavior of the connection of the structural plywood with the Light Steel Framing profiles system. To achieve the research objective, a bibliographic review was being done; the description, by means of flexure and shear tests, of the plywood boards; the evaluation of the connecting between self-tapping screws and the plywood boards fixed in the Light Steel Framing profiles system; and also an analysis of the possibility of eliminating of the galvanized steel strips bracing commonly made in the Light Steel Framing panels. It is hoped that this study will contribute to the steel reduction in the system, especially in buildings of social interest (low cost construction), and to the diffusion of technical knowledge about this subject.
