dc.descriptionThe research aims at the formation of racial relations in Brazil, starting from the analysis of the inclusion of racial theories in the context of a country marked by miscegenation. The starting point was to reflect on its formation from the postindependence conjuncture, when it was necessary to think of a new identity for the people who were already condemned by racial mixing. The investigation was carried out through bibliographic research, seeking to reorganize a possible path taken by the formation of racism in Brazil, starting from the reflection of the scientific prism of the explanations of the differences between the races and how they were inserted in the social thought of the time.en-US
dc.descriptionA pesquisa tem como objetivo a formação das relações raciais no Brasil, partindo da análise da inclusão das teorias raciais no contexto de um país marcado pela mestiçagem. O ponto de partida foi refletir sua formação a partir da conjuntura pós-independência, momento em que era necessário pensar uma nova identidade para o povo que já era condenado pela mistura racial. A investigação foi realizada por meio da pesquisa bibliográfica, buscou-se reorganizar um possível caminho percorrido pela formação do racismo no Brasil, partindo da reflexão do prisma científico das explicações das diferenças entre as raças e como se inseriram no pensamento social da época.pt-BR
