| dc.description | The municipality of Ponta Grossa, in the state of Paraná, has a vast heritage field in
relation to which, for hypothesis, part of the local society is concerned with this cultural
heritage and the other part, not. Thus, to prove, or not, this hypothesis, this research
sought to understand how individuals perceive the built heritage as elements of the
urban landscape, taking as the objective of analysis the Colégio Estadual Regente
Feijó, the Estação Paraná and the Vila Hilda, all of which are cultural heritage built
under the auspices of the Secretaria de Estado Educação e Cultura do Paraná (SEECPR) in 1990. For this, the research considered the current period for analysis, being
permeated by the condition and the current relationship of the subjects with the objects.
The geographical category used to carry out this understanding was "landscape", a
category that proved to be totally satisfactory, since it promptly met the initial
objectives. Regarding the operationalization of the research, the methodology used
the requested application of interviews, based on the studies of Leonel Brizolla
Monastirsky and Nisiane Madalozzo. These interviews were governed by the
methodological technique of form and questionnaire type, and the "saturation" of
similar answers is indicative for the closure of the activity, as elucidated by Martin W.
Bauer and George Gaskel. The results of the research were presented through two
biases: the first being the conceptual map of each built heritage studied and the second
being the analysis of the perceptions common to the three heritage sites, and were
analyzed as biased to any built heritage in the city. At the end of the reflections, it was
noticed that the research managed to achieve the objective and solve the hypothesis
raised at the beginning. It was found that the vast majority of individuals have social
awareness of the representativeness of cultural heritage built, attributing importance
to them and depositing values to them. Another part of the population, however, even
identifies them as symbols of social backwardness. | |
| dc.description | O município de Ponta Grossa, no estado do Paraná, possui vasto campo patrimonial
em relação ao qual, por hipótese, parte da sociedade local se preocupa com esse
patrimônio cultural e a outra parte, não. Assim, para comprovar, ou não, essa hipótese,
a presente pesquisa buscou compreender como os indivíduos percebem os
patrimônios edificados como elementos da paisagem urbana, tomando como objetivo
de análise o Colégio Estadual Regente Feijó, a Estação Paraná e a Vila Hilda, sendo
todos eles patrimônios culturais edificados tombados em 1990 pela Secretaria de
Estado Educação e Cultura do Paraná (SEEC-PR). Para isso, a pesquisa considerou
o período da atualidade para análise, sendo permeado pela condição e pela relação
atual dos sujeitos com os objetos. A categoria geográfica utilizada para realizar essa
compreensão foi "paisagem", categoria que se mostrou totalmente satisfatória, visto
que atendeu prontamente aos objetivos iniciais. Quanto à operacionalização da
pesquisa, a metodologia empregada solicitou a aplicação de entrevistas, tendo como
base de apoio os estudos de Leonel Brizolla Monastirsky e de Nisiane Madalozzo.
Tais entrevistas foram regidas pela técnica metodológica do tipo formulário e
questionário, sendo a "saturação" de respostas similares o indicativo para o
encerramento da atividade, conforme elucidam Martin W. Bauer e George Gaskel. Os
resultados da pesquisa foram apresentados mediante dois vieses: o primeiro sendo o
mapa conceitual de cada patrimônio edificado estudado e o segundo sendo a análise
das percepções comuns aos três patrimônios, e foram analisadas como tendenciosas
a qualquer patrimônio edificado da cidade. Ao final das reflexões, percebeu-se que a
pesquisa conseguiu alcançar o objetivo e sanar a hipótese levantada de início. Foi
constatado que a grande maioria dos indivíduos possui consciência social da
representatividade dos patrimônios culturais edificados, atribuindo-lhes importância e
depositando-lhes valores. Outra parte da população, no entanto, os identifica até como
símbolos de atraso social. | |
