| dc.description | Comparative Literature was first established as a discipline, followed by Translation Studies. Separately, the first saw the second as something secondary and derivative, as a disrespect to the source text, starting from the aporia of fidelity. However, as both developed in the academy, there is a theoretical and practical approach, through themes, linguistic choices, images and intertextual relations. Anchored in an intertextual dialogue, this work aims to establish a harmonious approach between Comparative Literature and Translation Studies and how these areas of knowledge deal with the text, their main work tool. | en-US |
| dc.description | A Literatura Comparada se instituiu primeiro como disciplina, sendo seguida pelos Estudos da Tradução. De forma separatista, a primeira enxergava o segundo como algo secundário e derivativo, como um desrespeito ao texto-fonte, partindo da aporia da fidelidade. No entanto, à medida que ambas foram se desenvolvendo na academia, nota-se uma aproximação tanto teórico como prática, por meio de temas, escolhas linguísticas, imagens e nas relações intertextuais.
