| dc.description | Los espacios vegetativos dentro de un entorno experimentan cambios al paso de los a?os debido a agentes tanto externos como internos de manera beneficiosa o perjudicial para el ecosistema. Este es el caso de la regi?n del oriente del Tolima, la cual, se ha visto afectada principalmente por las actividades agropecuarias, eventos climatol?gicos las cuales inciden en la evoluci?n de la vegetaci?n de esta regi?n. Entre los objetivos a desarrollar se propone determinar el comportamiento de la vegetaci?n, analizar la variabilidad espacial y temporal del comportamiento vegetativo y por ?ltimo identificar los tipos de coberturas vegetales dentro de las zonas nombradas anteriormente. Para analizar estos cambios se utilizaron herramientas SIG para aplicar el ?ndice normalizado diferencial de vegetaci?n (NDVI) en los municipios de Coello, Flandes, Espinal, Guamo, Salda?a, Purificaci?n, Prado, Cunday, Suarez, Carmen de Apical?, Icononzo, Villarrica y Melgar, de tal manera que se evidencien los cambios que ha sufrido la cobertura vegetal de esta zona entre los a?os 1970 y 2017. Se pudo evidenciar, en general, que el departamento del Tolima en la zona suroriente ha sufrido una serie de cambios en su vegetaci?n de manera irregular ya que estos dependen de los fen?menos climatol?gicos como el presentado en 2016 por el fuerte fen?meno del ni?o o el boom del cultivo de arroz en los 90, de igual manera los esfuerzos por reforestar distintas zonas llevadas a cabo por CORTOLIMA ha equilibrado el porcentaje de vegetaci?n de los bosques. | |
| dc.description | The vegetative spaces within an environment undergo changes over the years due to both external and internal agents in a way that is beneficial or detrimental to the ecosystem. This is the case of the eastern region of Tolima, which has been affected mainly by agricultural activities that are developed there as the cultivation of rice, in addition, weather events such as the phenomenon of the child have influenced the evolution of vegetation in this region. The objectives to be developed include determining the behavior of vegetation, analysing the spatial and temporal variability of vegetative behavior and finally identifying the types of vegetation cover within the areas mentioned above. With the help of ArcGIS, software that through the normalized differential vegetation index (NDVI) an analysis was carried out in the department of Tolima, specifically the eastern zone (Coello, Flandes, Espinal, Guamo, Salda?a, Purificaci?n, Prado, Cunday, Suarez, Carmen de Apical?, Icononzo, Villarrica and Melgar), in such a way that the changes that the vegetal coverage of this zone has undergone between 1970 and 2017 are evidenced. It was evident, in general, that the department of Tolima in the southeast has undergone a series of changes in its vegetation in an irregular manner since they depend on climatic phenomena such as that presented in 2016 by the strong phenomenon of the child or the boom in rice cultivation in the 90's, likewise the efforts to reforest different areas carried out by CORTOLIMA has balanced the percentage of vegetation in the forests. | |
