| dc.description | Con el objetivo de indagar los antecedentes científicos de la psicología en el trabajo con pequeños productores agropecuarios se examinó la base de datos PsycINFO (APA), identificándose 321 resúmenes que contenían conocimiento psicológico en relación al grupo social de interés. Posteriormente, estos trabajos fueron categorizados en torno a las variables (1) Área de la psicología, (2) Importancia dada a la categoría “pequeño productor agropecuario”, (3) Región geográfica, (4) Metodología de investigación utilizada y (5) Década en la que fueron publicados. Finalmente, se analizó la distribución de cada una de las variables y la asociación entre ellas. Se concluye que las áreas de la psicología que contienen mayor cantidad de trabajos son Desarrollo y prácticas productivas, Salud y Social, llamando la atención la escasa presencia del área Educacional. Asimismo, se destaca la primera área mencionada, ya que no constituye un ámbito tradicional de aplicación de la psicología. Finalmente, se afirma la importancia de desarrollar los conocimientos de la psicología en relación al ámbito rural. | |
| dc.description | In order to investigate the scientific background of psychology in working with peasants and farmers the PsycINFO database (APA) was reviewed identifying 321 abstracts containing psychological knowledge in relation to the social group of interest. Subsequently, these works were categorized around the variables (1) Area of psychology, (2) Importance given to the category “ farmer”, (3) geographic region, (4) research methodology and (5) decade in which they were published. Finally, we analyzed the distribution of each of the variables and the association between them. We conclude that the areas of psychology that contain greater amounts of articles are development and production practices, Social and Health, drawing attention the limited abstacts on Education area. It is also highlighted that the first mentioned area does not constitute a traditional area of application of psychology. Finally, it is affirmed the importance of developing knowledge from psychology related to rural areas. | |
