dc.descriptionEn Argentina, a mediados del siglo pasado, la cultura física fue impulsada fuertemente desde el gobierno dirigido por Juan Domingo Perón. En efecto, esta arista fue considerada como un aspecto relevante de la cultura a la cual podían aspirar todos los ciudadanos del país sudamericano. En ese sentido, cobró relevancia el accionar de un aliado clave del gobierno como lo fue la Confederación General de los Trabajadores. A lo largo del presente trabajo indagaré en el espacio obtenido por la central sindical para difundir la cultura física entre los millones de trabajadores. Lo haré a través de dos momentos puntuales como lo fueron los años 1948 y 1953. Por un lado, la fallida incorporación de la CGT a un nuevo órgano gubernamental destinado a regular la cultura física, y por el otro, la proliferación de eventos fomentados por la confederación sindical. Ambos episodios demostrarán la heterogeneidad del gobierno peronista.
dc.descriptionIn Argentina, in the middle of the last century, physical culture was strongly promoted by the government led by Juan Domingo Perón. Indeed, this edge was considered a relevant aspect of the culture to which all citizens of the South American country could aspire. In this sense, the actions of a key ally of the government such as the Confederación General de los Trabajadores became relevant. Throughout this work I will investigate the space obtained by the trade union center to spread physical culture among the millions of workers. I will do it through two specific moments such as the years 1948 and 1953. On the one hand, the failed incorporation of the CGT into a new government body designed to regulate physical culture, and on the other, the proliferation of events promoted by the trade union confederation. Both episodes will demonstrate the heterogeneity of the Peronist government.
