dc.descriptionThe present essay deals with approaches to the subject of ethnic otherness in Roman literary sources. The first part exposes an overview of how the theme has been worked by classics researchers in the last century. Our interest there is to highlight important aspects of the researchers’ contexts that break in their analysis of the Roman past. In the second part of the essay, we aim at presenting some contributions that could be of help at the moment we approach the Roman literary sources.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo estudia algunas aproximaciones destacadas al tema de la otredad étnica en las fuentes literarias romanas. La primera parte expone un panorama de las lecturas que han ofrecido investigadores del campo de los estudios clásicos en el último siglo. Nuestro interés allí es resaltar aspectos importantes del contexto propio de los investigadores que se han filtrado en sus análisis del pasado romano. En la segunda parte del artículo, pretendemos ofrecer algunas contribuciones que podrían ser de utilidad en el momento de leer sobre la cuestión del otro en las fuentes literarias romanas.es-AR
