| dc.description | RESUMEN: el objetivo de este artículo es especificar cuál fue el proyecto educativo del republicanismo en Colombia tomando como referencia los artículos de educación publicados en Colombia Revista Semanal entre 1916 y 1922. Este medio, creado por Antonio J. Cano congregó a personalidades de la vida política, económica y cultural del país, en especial destaca Carlos E. Restrepo, presidente de Colombia 1910-1914 y máximo exponente del Republicanismo. Colombia Revista Semanal centró sus intereses en la política partiendo de actividades como la crítica, la lectura, la escritura y el incentivo de prácticas en materia educativa, la cual se puede interpretar como un espacio para la divulgación del conocimiento durante el periodo abordado que permitió a sus lectores establecer una posición crítica de la actualidad política, social, cultural y económica del país, pero sobre todo interesa exponer qué tipo de proyecto educativo trataron de impulsar y diferenciarlo de los métodos vigentes. | |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: this paper aims to specify the educational project of republicanism in Colombia, taking as a reference the articles on education published in the magazine Colombia Revista Semanal, between 1916 and 1922. This publication, created by Antonio J. Cano, brought together personalities from political, economic and culture of the country, especially highlighting to Carlos E. Restrepo, president of Colombia 1910-1914 and maximum exponent of Republicanism. This magazine focused its interests on politics topics, involving activities such as criticism, reading, writing and the encouragement of practices in educational matters. This editorial publication can be interpreted as a space for the dissemination of knowledge during the period covered, that allowed to their readers establish a critical position about the current political, social, cultural and economic affairs of your country, being of primary interest to investigate what type of educational project they tried to promote and their differences with the current methods. | |
