| dc.description | RESUMEN: Marcel Duchamp (1887-1968), “descubridor” del readymade, es uno de los artistas más influyentes de la historia del arte moderno. Este trabajo, fundamentado en el concepto sociológico, discursivo y crítico de figura de autor, explora su carrera y obra. Los estudios autorales, entre los que la figura de autor es específicamente vigente, tienen una robusta tradición en los ámbitos de la teoría y la crítica literaria. En otras artes no necesariamente sucede lo mismo, circunstancia que motiva la presente investigación. Por demás, estudiar las humanidades desde una perspectiva autoral puede traer un giro que arroje aprendizajes valiosos. Precisamente, las obras de Duchamp suelen demostrar un carácter textual o discursivo que lo acercarían más al concepto de autor que al de artista (calificativo que aborrecía). A la par que estudia y discute el concepto de figura de autor, el presente trabajo busca comprender mejor la obra, filosofía y modos de ser de Duchamp. Los resultados alcanzados incluyen reinterpretaciones de su carrera y figura, descubrimientos e hipótesis en relación con sus obras, un estudio del uso de su imagen, ideas sobre la historia del arte y un recuento biográfico y anecdótico de este “anartista” franco-americano. | |
