| dc.description | RESUMEN: El espacio público desempeña un papel vital en lo que conocemos como ciudad, puesto
que, a través de él, la ciudad logra articular y cualificar las zonas periféricas. Por medio del
presente artículo nos permitiremos analizar el concepto de espacio público a la luz de dos
categorías que le subyacen: tejido urbano y tejido social. Esto se hará tomando como
escenario de análisis el Parque Ecológico y Recreativo San Antonio de Itagüí (PERSA). La
manera de proceder fue según los parámetros de la metodología ISPAF, un procedimiento
investigativo que involucró el uso de herramientas digitales para la construcción del
conocimiento. El análisis de los conceptos permitió aclarar que entre el tejido social y el tejido urbano
existe una relación de reciprocidad, pero también existe entre ellos una constante tensión
que confronta los actores que defienden una u otra categoría. De ahí se desprende la tensión
latente entre los habitantes del barrio San Antonio (lugar donde se ubica el PERSA) y la
administración de Itagüí; los primeros defendiendo el tejido social y los segundos
defensores del tejido urbano, ambos escenarios reflejando falencias y fortalezas. El uso de
las herramientas digitales y la creación del repositorio online evidencian como el espacio
público se convierte en el escenario de confluencia entre lo intersubjetivo y lo urbano. | |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: The public space plays a vital role in what we know as a city, since through it, the city
manages to articulate and qualify the peripheral areas. Through this article we will allow us
to analyze the concept of public space in light of two categories that underlie it: urban
fabric and social fabric. This will be done taking as scenario of analysis the Ecological and
Recreational Park San Antonio from Itagüí (PERSA). The way of proceeding was
according to the paradores of the ISPAF methodology, a research procedure that involved
the use of digital tools for the construction of knowledge. The analysis of the concepts made it possible to clarify that there is a relationship of reciprocity between the social fabric and the urban fabric, but there is also a constant tension between them that confronts the actors that defend one category or another. Hence,
the latent tension between the inhabitants of the San Antonio neighborhood (where the
PERSA is located) and the Itaguí administration; the first ones defending the social fabric
and the second defenders of the urban fabric, both scenarios reflecting weaknesses and
strengths. The use of flas digital tools and the creation of the online repository show how
the public space becomes the scene of confluence between the intersubjective and the
urban. | |
