dc.descriptionRESUMEN: Este trabajo narra cómo dos mujeres transgénero han construido, a través de sus experiencias personales, familiares y de pareja, sus significados alrededor de la vinculación afectiva de pareja. Desde la investigación de tipo cualitativo, específicamente biográfica narrativa, se emplearon la entrevista a profundidad y el análisis de documentos personales como técnicas para recoger la información. Se encontró que para las mujeres participantes su transición en el género representa un fluir, cargado de reflexiones que las llevan a la materialización de acciones alrededor de su transformación corporal, elección de lugares de enunciación de sí mismas y búsqueda o no de reconocimiento social. Estos asuntos tienen eco sobre sus vínculos afectivos, al situarlas en un panorama de rareza percibido sobre sí mismas y sus seres queridos, a raíz de los comportamientos de rechazo que reciben por parte de otros. Estos aspectos dotan de particularidades sus vínculos, que cuando acogen su ser transgénero, les brindan un entorno de reconocimiento y apoyo. Sin embargo, sus vínculos no dejan de ser obstaculizados por prácticas que les indican que no están siendo reconocidas de forma genuina por el otro, principalmente cuando sus parejas evitan darles un lugar por fuera de su mundo privado por temor a experimentar en carne propia la estigmatización, dejan de brindarles placer recíproco en la intimidad sexual como resultado de la deslocalización de sus cuerpos o no se proyectan a largo plazo con ellas. Todo esto las lleva a cuestionar el amor y establecer una serie de parámetros para proteger su propio bienestar emocional.
dc.descriptionABSTRACT: This paper addresses how two transgender women have built, through their personal, family, and couple experiences, their meanings around couple bonding. The in-depth interview and the analysis of personal documents—techniques of qualitative research, specifically biographical-narrative research—were used to collect the information. It was found that, for the participating women, gender transition represents the act of flowing, full of reflections leading to materialize actions around their body transformation, choose places to enunciate themselves, and search for social recognition or not. These matters impact their affectional bonds, by placing them in a queerness landscape perceived on themselves and their loved ones, due to the rejection behaviors that they receive from others. These aspects provide their affectional bonds with particularities that, when they welcome their transgender being, give them an environment of recognition and support. However, their bonds are hindered by practices that show them that they are not being genuinely recognized by the other, mainly when their partners avoid to give them a place outside their private world for fear of experiencing firsthand stigmatization, stop reciprocating pleasure during sexual intimacy as a result of the delocalization of their bodies, or do not project themselves with these women in the long term. All this makes them question love and establish a series of parameters to protect their own emotional well-being.
