| dc.description | RESUMEN: La pretensión principal de este trabajo es indagar a través de la revisión documental, sobre las prácticas del terror llevadas a cabo por las Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia en relación con la política exterior estadounidense y sus objetivos concretos; es decir, de qué manera las prácticas del terror paraestatales son una materialización de los intereses de dicha potencia y cómo cobra matices particulares en medio de las condiciones de nuestro país. Además, busca relacionar la intencionalidad de las prácticas del terror con los contextos en que se llevan a cabo: el caso de la masacre de El Salado y Bahía Portete para ser precisos, a través de la noción de Trauma Cultural. El abonado terreno colombiano, la planeación estadounidense aunada con otros esfuerzos internacionales, más el aporte de las ciencias sociales, hacen de la contrainsurgencia una doctrina poderosa con elementos y armas en constante evolución. | |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: The main aim of this work is to investigate, through the documentary review, about the terror practices carried out by the United Self-Defense Groups of Colombia in relation to United States foreign policy and its specific objectives; that is, in what ways the Parastatal terror is a materialization of the interests of that power, and how it acquires particular nuances in the midst of the conditions of our country. In addition, seeks to relate the intentionality of terror practices with the contexts in which they are carried out, the case of the massacre of El Salado and Bahía Portete to be precise, through the notion of Cultural Trauma. The subscribed Colombian terrain, the American planning coupled with other international efforts, plus the contribution of the social sciences, make the counterinsurgency a powerful doctrine with elements and weapons in constant evolution. | |
