dc.descriptionRESUMEN: Este artículo explora algunas facetas del esquema de representación que las comunidades negras del departamento del Chocó han creado sobre los ecosistemas marino/costeros, de planicie aluvial y de piedemonte andino que han habitado desde hace más de tres siglos. La vía de ingreso a esta faceta de su patrimonio inmaterial es la tradición oral y ella hace visible que aquella experiencia territorial se ha estructurado no sólo a partir de haceres y saberes utilitarios, sino desde componentes simbólicos que han brindado elementos de referencia (imaginarios, esquemas axiológicos, normas de conducta, formas de codificación de la realidad, etc.) que han contribuido a gestar una significativa porción de la vivencia cultural de esta etnia del noroccidente colombiano.
dc.descriptionABSTARCT: This article explores some aspects of the scheme of representation that the black communities of the department of Chocó created on marine/ coastal ecosystems, floodplain and Andean foothills that they have inhabited for more than three centuries. The entrance road to this aspect of intangible heritage is oral tradition, which makes visible that this territorial experience has been structured not only from the practical making and thinking, but from symbolic components which have provided reference points (imaginary axiological models, standards of conduct, ways of encoding reality, etc..) that have helped generate a significant portion of this ethnicity's cultural experience in northwestern Colombia.
