| dc.description | RESUMEN: En esta monografía el relato está constituido por la novela La casa de las dos palmas de Manuel Mejía Vallejo, donde se intentará describir las relaciones de género, jerarquía y parentesco del relato y los significados de estas relaciones para los personajes de la historia. Esta indagación está enmarcada, por supuesto en el espacio temporal en el que se desarrolla el relato literario, que se puede situar entre finales del siglo XIX y las primeras tres décadas del siglo XX. En el mismo se indagan temas antropológicos de interés para entender la estructura de la familia antioqueña, las relaciones de parentesco basadas en términos biológicos o simbólicos con el fin de ampliar la mirada a la hora de contextualizar la obra de Manuel Mejía Vallejo particularmente en el universo de Balandú y sus personajes. | |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: In this monograph the story is constituted by the novel La casa de las palmas by Manuel Mejía Vallejo, where an attempt is made to describe the relations of gender, hierarchy and kinship of the story and the meanings of these relationships for the characters of the story. This inquiry is framed, of course, in the temporal space in which the literary story unfolds, which can be found between the end of the 19th century and the first three decades of the 20th century. In it, anthropological topics of interest to understand the structure of the Antioqueno family are investigated, the kinship relations in biological or symbolic terms in order to broaden the view when contextualizing the work of Manuel Mejía Vallejo particularly in the universe of Balandú and its characters. | |
