| dc.description | RESUMEN: Esta investigación parte del interés por conocer las consideraciones generales y los elementos subyacentes que han configurado las discusiones acerca del debate epistemológico de la psicología. Para ello, se recurre a una revisión tipo documental que busca establecer los orígenes, desarrollos y principios que hay en la psicología en términos ontológicos y epistemológico, de manera que las preguntas acerca de la cientificidad de las distintas metodologías y los objetos de investigación propuestos para la psicología ofician como eje para el desarrollo teórico del problema. El devenir del análisis temático de este trabajo evidencia la necesidad, por parte de la psicología, de inmiscuirse en un análisis conceptual de las características formales que dieron paso a la disciplina psicológica, por lo que se hace imperativo que se reconozcan, primero, las reflexiones que hay al interior de la historia y la filosofía de la ciencia, para luego corroborar con una perspectiva crítica cuál es la naturaleza de las investigaciones construidas en la psicología y sus posibles consecuencias teóricas o prácticas. Por ende, este texto realiza una revisión sobre los orígenes y desarrollos del conocimiento científico, de modo que luego se deriva en el análisis formal de las características y metodologías de la ciencia, para posteriormente encauzar estas discusiones a la situación de la psicología en una perspectiva igualmente formal, de manera que ello permite situar históricamente el debate acerca de los fundamentos epistemológicos de la psicología. | |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: This research stems from the interest in knowing the general considerations and underlying
elements that have shaped discussions about the epistemological debate in psychology. For this
purpose, a documentary-type review is used to establish the origins, developments and principles
that exist in psychology, in both ontological and epistemological terms. These questions about
the scientific nature of different methodologies and research objects evidenced within
psychology are proposed as the axis for the theoretical development concerning the research’s
problem. The evolution of the thematic analysis of this work shows the need, from psychology's
perspective, to interfere the conceptual analysis of the formal characteristics that gave way to
psychological discipline, for which reason, it becomes imperative first of all, that these
considerations are recognized within the history and philosophy of science, in order to later
corroborate by means of a critical analysis the nature of the research constructed in psychology
and its possible theoretical or practical consequences. Therefore, this text makes a review of the
origins and developments of scientific knowledge, emphasizing in the formal analysis of the
characteristics and methodologies of science, thus leading these discussions to the current
situation of psychology in an equally formal perspective, allowing to situate historically the
debate about the epistemological foundations of psychology. | |
