dc.descriptionRESUMEN: La exposición que realiza Daniell Valderrama, es una radiografía acertada de las contradicciones que acarreó la modernización de la ciudad; así logra transportar al lector de una villa tranquila que se dejó seducir por el cine como espectáculo público en los espacios de sociabilidad que suscita el cine: los teatros barriales, es decir cercanos a los lugares de residencia, a la ciudad que se complejiza con el aumento de población y las diversas violencias que surgieron en las décadas de 1970-1980, cuando el cine se volvió un disfrute privado por las nuevas tecnologías y el temor que empezó a motivar la violencia que se instaló en Medellín.
