Globally, the private equity fund industry has continuously grown over the years since it made its appearance after World War II, and Colombia has not been an exception. However, although nationally we’ve seen great progress in terms of industry standardization and agent professionalism, there’s still a long road ahead to catch up with the highest international standards/best practices. Thus, we consider it of great value to quantitatively determine the benefits of incorporating these aforementioned international standards, technically known as the ILPA 3.0 principles, together with other important aspects such as best practices in fields such as governance, social and environmental impact, on Private Equity Funds based in Colombia.
