| dc.description | El presente estudio est? desarrollado con el fin de analizar la pertinencia metodol?gica del modelo pedag?gico aplicado por los docentes del programa de Salud Oral, en relaci?n con el desarrollo curricular del Instituto Nacional de T?cnicas INTECS. Se hizo una revisi?n del autor Malag?n, (s.f.) en donde manifiesta que:
Es posible afirmar que la pertinencia de la educaci?n superior hoy se hace m?s viable a partir de una mayor permeabilizaci?n del sistema universitario al sistema productivo y ello como resultado tambi?n de que ambos sistemas manejan un lenguaje com?n: flexibilidad, calidad, competitividad, resultados, productividad (p. 4).
Teniendo en cuenta que las instituciones de formaci?n para el trabajo tienen una orientaci?n fundamentada en competencias laborales y que posee caracter?sticas especiales tales como la ?pertinencia frente a las necesidades del contexto, no s?lo del mercado globalizado sino del social, lo que asegura que la formaci?n agrega valor a las personas para efectos de su inserci?n al mundo productivo? (Ministerio de Educaci?n Nacional, 2008, p. 7).
Los objetivos desarrollados fueron: an?lisis del PEI de la Instituci?n, establecer la relaci?n que existe entre las pr?cticas pedag?gicas y el modelo pedag?gico del Instituto y plantear estrategias pedag?gicas pertinentes para el desarrollo de los programas en Instituciones de Formaci?n para el trabajo y el desarrollo Humano. El trabajo desarrollado es de tipo cualitativo y los instrumentos utilizados son: an?lisis de texto, fichas de observaci?n de clase y entrevista de grupo focal, en donde la muestra fueron tres docentes con formaci?n profesional en Odontolog?a, sin estudios de docencia, con manejo de grupos en la jornada de la ma?ana y noche respectivamente.
Como resultado se puede manifestar que no existe evidencia alguna del modelo pedag?gico como tal, en ?ste se menciona un enfoque por competencias laborales, evidenci?ndose as?, que los docentes son profesionales en su ?rea de conocimiento pero se puede inferir que presentan falencias en los fundamentos pedag?gicos y que a pesar de las debilidades y/o falencias pedag?gicas, los docentes del programa de salud oral del INTECS, demuestran su profesionalismo en la orientaci?n de competencias ?tiles para el desempe?o laboral de los estudiantes matriculados en el programa. | |
| dc.description | The purpose of this study is the analysis of the methodological pertinence of the Teaching model applied by teachers of the Oral Health program, related to the curriculum development of the INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE TECNICAS, INTECS. Next, there is a quotation from Malag?n (2003), following a revisi?n, where he says that ? it is posible to say that the pertinence of higher education today becomes more feasible from increased permeabilization of the university system to the productive system and that as a result of both systems also handle a common language: flexibility, quality , competitiviness?. Taking into account that the institutions training for work have an orientation based on job skills and that possesses special features such as pertinence to the needs of the context, about both,a globalizad an social market , which ensures that the formation adds value to people for purposes of insertion into the productive world?. ( Document N? 6 Ministerio de Educaci?n Nacional).
The following were the objectives developped : PEI analysis of the institution, establishing the existing relationship between the pedagogical practices and teaching model of the institute and raise relevant teaching strategies for the development of programs in institutions training for work and human development. The work done is qualitative and the instruments used are: text analysis, class observation sheets and focus group interview, where the sample were three teachers with professional training in dentistry, without previous studies or teaching training, with management groups in the morning and evening sessions respectively.
As a result it can be said that there is no existing evidence of the teaching model as such, in this one an approach for job skills is mentioned, thus demonstrating that teachers are professionals in their field of knowledge although it can be inferred that they present in the educational foundations, and that regardless their weaknesses and /or shortcomings the teachers of oral health program at INTECS prove their professionalism when guiding to useful skills for job performance of students registered in the program.
