dc.description | El presente trabajo de investigaci?n brinda informaci?n sobre pertinencia en el proceso de articulaci?n de la educaci?n media entre el SENA y la Instituci?n Educativa Santo Domingo Savio de Planadas ? Tolima. El documento explicita informaci?n acerca de c?mo la instituci?n educativa inici? y desarrolla el proceso de articulaci?n de la media t?cnica con el SENA, encontr?ndose que existen ciertas debilidades en el mismo y en los subprocesos que de ?l se derivan, muestra de ello es la inexistencia de documen-taci?n de varios a?os sobre el proceso de articulaci?n, que no permite vislumbrar si hay avances o retrocesos sobre el cumplimiento de los objetivos del programa de forma-ci?n.
En cuanto a la metodolog?a se refiere, el proyecto se llev? a cabo bajo una investiga-ci?n de corte cualitativo, descriptivo y se enmarc? en un dise?o de investigaci?n acci?n (Lewin, 1946). Se realiz? un an?lisis e interpretaci?n del impacto de la formaci?n en el entorno (egresados, estudiantes, padres de familia, sector productivo, docentes) y del proceso de articulaci?n. Los resultados mostraron que la IE cumple parcialmente las condiciones y requisitos requeridos para la permanencia del proceso de articulaci?n, siendo necesaria la apropiaci?n de las responsabilidades por parte de los actores principales involucrados (docentes de b?sica secundaria y media, directivos docentes, coordinador de la media t?cnica, instructor, l?der del programa de articulaci?n con insti-tuciones educativas, aprendices, padres de familia y representantes del sector produc-tivo) y un seguimiento y control permanente, a la vez eficaz sobre las tareas desarro-lladas y sobre el cumplimiento de las metas establecidas en el plan operativo institucio-nal de articulaci?n.

dc.description | This research work provides information on the relevance in the process of articulation of secondary education between SENA and Santo Domingo Savio Highschool from Planadas (Tolima). For it, this document makes explicit information about how the edu-cational institution initiated and has developed this process, and how it has been done, adapted and appropriated of a competency-based curriculum so that tenth and eleventh grade students acquire and strengthen capacities that allows them to enter the labor market and their continuity in higher education; likewise, a review is made of different documents that are used as a primary input in the referential framework.
Methodologically, the project was done under qualitative, descriptive research and was framed in an action research design (Lewin, 1946); instruments such as the survey, the interview and the documentary review were used. Through them, tasks were performed such as: analyzing and interpreting the articulation process and the impact of training by competences from the point of view of various actors, knowing the perception and expe-rience of the articulation process between educational institution and SENA, and to know information about the rules and other institutional references and the visions that are proposed about this aspect in the government plans from the national order to the municipal order.
The results obtained were triangulated against each one of the analysis categories, al-lowing to demonstrate strengths and weaknesses in the process under study. There-fore, it was already determined that the educational institution partially meets the condi-tions and requirements required for the permanence and relevance of the articulation process, and it is necessary to design and establish an effective mechanism for perma-nent monitoring and control of the tasks performed and compliance with the goals es-tablished in the institutional operating plan.
