Resumen
Analysis by the NOAA Climate Prediction Center reveals that sea surface temperatures in the North Atlantic near Greenland are well above normal levels. The above average temperatures can be seen in the image shown here, as a large area of red surrounding Southern Greenland and Iceland. This image was generated by using a monthly average of the Daily Optimum Interpolation SST Anomaly data generated by the National Climatic Data Center. Areas colored red are warmer than the 1971-2000 average, areas colored blue are cooler than that average Educação Superior::Ciências Exatas e da Terra::Geociências Ensino Médio::Geografia Educação Superior::Ciências Exatas e da Terra::Oceanografia
