| dc.description | El propósito de este trabajo consiste en analizar las celebraciones republicanas y monárquicas realizadas durante el período de Independencia en las provincias de Santa Marta y Cartagena, abordando las rupturas y continuidades en la forma como se desarrollaron estas ceremonias. De esta manera, puede observarse la influencia de estos eventos en medio de un ambiente marcado por la guerra, la crisis económica y la marcada tensión política. Pero, aún por encima de esta serie de dificultades, quedó en evidencia el afán de las autoridades de turno por llevar a cabo sus rituales y festejos con miras a legitimar y lograr consenso en torno a sus proyectos políticos. | |
| dc.description | The purpose of this paper is to analyze the republican and monarchical celebrations during the period of Independence in the provinces of Santa Marta and Cartagena, analyzing the ruptures and continuities in the way these ceremonies were developed. Thus, we can see the influence of these events in an environment marked by war, economic crisis and the political tension. But even beyond this series of difficulties, it was clear the desire of the authorities to carry out their rituals and celebrations in order to legitimize and achieve consensus on their political projects. | |

No obstante lo anterior, la enunciación de las autorizaciones es meramente enunciativa y no descartan nuevas formas de explotación económica y editorial no descritas en este contrato por parte del AUTOR del artículo, a modo individual. 3.
