dc.descriptionLa ciudad de Cartagena ha venido presentando en las últimas décadas un incremento demográfico, que sumado a una baja inversión en el sector salud, ha dejado como consecuencia un déficit preocupante en la infraestructura hospitalaria. El hospital San Fernando cuenta con 6422 metros cuadrados distribuidos en 4 pisos, siendo este un proyecto que abarca las diferentes ramas de la ingeniería civil como lo son geotecnia, estructuras, vías y transporte, pavimentos, hidráulica, hidrología, sanitaria y ambiental; cumpliendo siempre con las normativas vigentes que rigen en cada uno de los componentes desarrollados. La infraestructura y dotación del hospital San Fernando permitirá una atención de tercer nivel de complejidad para los cartageneros de todos los estratos sociales. Debido a su ubicación en la unidad comunera 14 de la ciudad y siguiendo los lineamientos del plan de ordenamiento territorial, el presente proyecto permitirá, además, extender el servicio de salud a esta zona marginada de la ciudad en la cual la mayoría de sus habitantes están en estratos 1 y 2. Como posibles limitantes en el presente proyecto se tienen la disponibilidad de presupuesto y la posible inseguridad de la zona. Con la realización de este proyecto se logró presentar los diseños necesarios para darle soluciona a la necesidad previamente planteada.
dc.descriptionThe city of Cartagena has been submitting a demographic increase in the last decades, which, together with a low investment in the health sector, has left a worrying deficit in the hospital infrastructure. San Fernando hospital has 6422 square meters distributed in 4 floors, being a project that covers the different branches of civil engineering such as geotechnics, structures, highway design and transportation, pavements, hydraulics, hydrology, sanitary and environmental; Always complying with the current regulations that govern each of the components developed. The infrastructure and equipment of the hospital San Fernando will allow a third level of complexity for the Carthaginians of all social strata. Due to its location in the city's 14 common unit and following the guidelines of the territorial arrangement plan, the present project will also allow the extension of the health service to this marginalized area of the city in which the majority of its inhabitants are in strata 1 and 2. Possible limitations in the present project are the lack of economic resource and the possible insecurity of the area. With the accomplishment of this project it was possible to present the designs necessary to give solution to the previously raised need.
