dc.description.abstract | El período de transición para la vaca lechera, empieza de dos a tres semanas
preparto y continúa hasta dos o tres semanas postparto.
El término transición hace énfasis en el cambio fisiológico, metabólico y
nutricional más importante que ocurre en es la etapa. Éste constituye el punto
decisivo en el ciclo productivo de la vaca, de una lactancia a la próxima. La manera
como estos cambios ocurren y cómo son manejados, tiene importancia por la
estrecha relación que hay con las enfermedades clínicas y subclínicas del post parto
que generan efectos en la productividad y rentabilidad. | |
