La incidencia de la infraestructura de la ciudad de Barranquilla en rentabilidad de las operaciones de comercio exterior

Abstract

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo analizar la incidencia que tiene la infraestructura en la rentabilidad de las operaciones del comercio exterior de la ciudad de Barranquilla; teniendo en cuenta que la infraestructura logística es esencial para el crecimiento económico, la competitividad y el desarrollo sostenible, pero si no se suministran las herramientas necesarias para una cadena de suministro eficiente los productos y servicios que se ofrecen quizás no sean atractivos y no garantice el posicionamiento de la ciudad como un centro logístico atractivo. Este estudio fue cualitativo y de alcance descriptivo, el cual permitió realizar un análisis sobre el resultado en la infraestructura y el impacto que esta tiene en la economía para el desarrollo logístico de las operaciones. Los resultados obtenidos en el presente estudio evidencian que la ciudad de Barranquilla cuenta con buena ubicación para el desarrollo operativo de comercio exterior, pero su infraestructura es deficiente. Ya que la ciudad presenta fallas en las operaciones logísticas y necesita fortalecer aspectos como la insuficiencia en la infraestructura vial por una que permita tener mayor conectividad que permitan convertir a Barranquilla en una de las ciudades con una infraestructura logística eficaz y competitiva para negociaciones internacionales.

The objective of this project is to analyze the incidence of infrastructure in the profitability of foreign trade operations in the city of Barranquilla; taking into account that the logistics infrastructure is essential for economic growth, competitiveness and sustainable development, but if the necessary tools for an efficient supply chain are not provided, the products and services offered may not be attractive and do not guarantee the positioning of the city as an attractive logistics center. This study was qualitative and descriptive in scope, which allowed an analysis of the result in the infrastructure and the impact it has on the economy for the logistic development of operations. The results obtained in this study show that the city of Barranquilla has a good location for the operational development of foreign trade, but its infrastructure is deficient. Since the city presents flaws in logistics operations and needs to strengthen aspects such as insufficient road infrastructure for one that allows for greater connectivity that allows Barranquilla to become one of the cities with an efficient and competitive logistics infrastructure for international negotiations.
