Factores limitantes en las exportaciones de coque metalúrgico en Palermo Sociedad Portuaria de Colombia y su incidencia en la rentabilidad durante el periodo (2020-2022)

Abstract

El proyecto de investigación se enfoca en el análisis de las limitaciones que enfrentan las operaciones de exportación a nivel mundial y su impacto en la rentabilidad de las organizaciones. Es fundamental reflexionar sobre el papel de las exportaciones, ya que estas generan diversas externalidades positivas como el crecimiento económico, el fortalecimiento de la economía nacional y el aumento del Producto Interno Bruto (PIB). En este sentido, se busca examinar en detalle los aspectos que restringen las exportaciones, centrándose específicamente en el caso de Palermo Sociedad Portuaria, una terminal marítima ubicada en el Km 3 de la vía Barranquilla-Ciénaga. Para respaldar esta investigación, se recopiló información proporcionada por el área de inteligencia de mercado correspondiente a los años 2020 al 2022. Se utilizó el software SPSS con el objetivo de identificar posibles correlaciones entre las variables de estudio, que incluyen toneladas movilizadas, costos, presupuesto e ingresos, utilizando un enfoque de regresión lineal. Mediante la recopilación y el análisis de datos, se busca diagnosticar el contexto de las operaciones de exportación de coque metalúrgico en el puerto de Palermo durante el período mencionado, con el fin de identificar los factores internos y externos que han influido en las actividades de la compañía. El objetivo es determinar el impacto generado en la rentabilidad de Palermo Sociedad Portuaria como resultado de los factores que limitan estas operaciones de exportación. Además, se busca formular alternativas que permitan a la compañía incrementar su competitividad en el mercado e innovar en sus procesos para garantizar su sostenibilidad a largo plazo, teniendo en cuenta las tendencias futuras del sector.

The research project focuses on the analysis of the limitations faced by export operations worldwide and their impact on the profitability of organizations. It is essential to reflect on the role of exports, since they generate various positive externalities such as economic growth, the strengthening of the national economy and the increase in Gross Domestic Product (GDP). In this sense, it seeks to examine in detail the aspects that restrict exports, focusing specifically on the case of Palermo Sociedad Portuaria, a maritime terminal located at Km 3 of the Barranquilla-Ciénaga highway. To support this research, information provided by the market intelligence area corresponding to the years 2020 to 2022 was collected. The SPSS software was used with the objective of identifying possible correlations between the study variables, which include tons mobilized, costs, budget and income, using a linear regression approach. Through the collection and analysis of data, it seeks to diagnose the context of the export operations of metallurgical coke in the port of Palermo during the mentioned period, in order to identify the internal and external factors that have influenced the activities of the company. company. The objective is to determine the impact generated in the profitability of Palermo Sociedad Portuaria as a result of the factors that limit these export operations. In addition, it seeks to formulate alternatives that allow the company to increase its competitiveness in the market and innovate in its processes to guarantee its long-term sustainability, taking into account future trends in the sector.
