dc.descriptionEl cine, aquél arte que nos ha hecho reír, llorar, soñar, viajar a otros lugares y, entre otras cosas más, ver mundos y seres nuevos (o ya imaginados, en caso de ser una adaptación de literatura), dio paso a una nueva forma de transmitir sensaciones, mensajes e imágenes a la sociedad. En el Ecuador, aquel viaje dentro del mundo cinematográfico comenzó con relativa tardanza en relación al surgimiento del cine a finales del siglo XIX, pero, a pesar de ello, se ha logrado establecer como una pequeña pero sólida industria en la actualidad. No obstante, esto no siempre fue así y por esta razón a lo largo del presente texto se abordará el origen e historia del cine nacional a lo largo del tiempo, explorando el viaje que el séptimo arte realizó en este país con algunas de sus más importantes aristas.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe cinema, that art that has made us laugh, cry, dream, travel to other places and, among other things, see new worlds and beings (or already imagined, in the case of an adaptation of literature), gave way to a new way of transmitting sensations, messages and images to society. In Ecuador, that journey into the world of cinema began relatively late in relation to the emergence of cinema at the end of the 19th century, but, in spite of this, it has managed to establish itself as a small but solid industry today. However, this was not always the case and for this reason throughout the present text we will address the origin and history of the national cinema throughout time, exploring the journey that the seventh art made in this country with some of its most important features.en-US
